I originally put this information up in 2005 in response to a "Planning, Writing, and Animating a Haiku" language arts unit for 5th graders as part of an action research project while pursuing my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan ELMAC program. The technology you use might be different (and hopefully better) but the basic principle is still good. Have fun!

• Storyboards - Powerpoint presentation showing the storyboards for // the_cat_films // logo. (The movie in slide 10 only works in Internet Explorer! You can see the logo in the movies section of this website - here.)

• Rubric for a "Persuasive Essay" video- Downloadable PDF. There's one for the teacher, a student self-assessment, and a peer assessment as well.
