I've been a designer of children's activity toys and books and an animator/freelance illustrator for various academic institutions. I also taught fifth grade and middle school animation. Once upon a time, I was even a college radio DJ. I have a collection of college degrees including an M.A. in elementary education from the University of Michigan.

Besides being a baby mama x2, I am working on my Nani Bear-Cat and Friends picture book series while doing some random teaching plus freelance design/video work. One of my professional interests is in how educators can best utilize art and video as storytelling to enhance regular classroom curriculum.
